    you are at 0 feet and the turtle is at 10 feet

    you go 10 feet, turtle has gone total of 11 feet

    you go another foot, you have gone a total of 11 feet and the turtle has gone a total of 11.1 feet

    you go another foot, you have gone a total of 12 feet and the turtle has gone a total of 11.2 feet
