I need to know the answer because that is what worries me a lot about.

Sometimes teachers make kids do different assignments because of different learning styles, needs, etc. Like I have kids in my class who have different spelling lists and some are harder, while others are easier. Ideally, the assignments shouldn't be just making you do more problems, though. As Angeles said, it may be because the teacher wants to make sure you're doing your own work or to give you extra practice. Are you good at math? Maybe the teacher is trying to give you an assignment that will take you about the same length of time as the other students to equal out the time taken to finish the homework. Although if you're good at math, they should give you more challenging work instead of more problems. Ask the teacher if you feel comfortable.

Perhaps she thinks you need the extra practice.
Another reason could be that for some reason she thinks you are copying, so this reassure her/him that you are doing your own work.
Do not worry about it. Teachers are only flawed people.
