Why Is the Triforce From the Zelda Games in Math Books?

In a lot of math books, I’ve noticed that the Triforce from the Zelda games are found in the fractions section. Why is it there?

cause the symbol is made up of four equilateral triangles. the middle one is out, making the fraction 3/4. its also one of the beginning stages of a famous fractal.
