Try a game my math teacher uses; it's called math ball. What you do is you pass out a worksheet comprised of 5-10 fairly simple problems that review what you've been teaching. Make sure to tell them to keep their papers anonymous and not to work on it with their neighbors: keep it independent. As they're working, walk around and divide the kids into 3 teams and have the kids write their team number on the top of the sheet. Once they're done, collect the papers get group 1 together, group 2 together, and group 3 together. Give group 1 group 2's papers, give group 2 group 3's papers, and give group 3 group 1's papers to correct. Give the answer to question 1 and have the kids tell you how many people got that question right. The number of correct answers equates to how many shots that team has to score a basket. ((Throwing a ball into a trash can)) At the end, the team with the most baskets wins!
