This isn’t an actual problem, because I’m not looking for the answer, I want to figure it out myself, but if you have a problem like… 542 – 964 = 872 296 + 1182 = 1732 9762 + 17828 = 13124 Then 17654 x 589 = ? What are some ways to approach a problem like this?
you could always convert the problems to a different base, solve them and convert them back to the original base. remember…there is no 6 in base 6. or… set the equations equal to zero and solve them using some other method. good luck.
