Please hurry this is urgent…

a) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 = 2003
Use the symbols + – x and / once each to make the statement true

b) 7/A = B*C / (D*E) + F*G / (5*H)
Use the digits 0 through 9 once each (5 and 7 already used) to replace the letters and make the statement true

I don't know about a) yet, but b) is plainly impossible.

A can't be zero, otherwise 7/A would be undefined.
D, E, and H can't be zero either, or you have a 0 denominator.
Hence, either B, C, F, or G must be zero.

Either way, the equation turns into either:
7/A = BC/DE
or
7/A = FG/5H

Cross multiply these to get either:
7DE = ABC
or
7*5H = AFG

Either way, the left side of the equation has a factor of 7.
For the equality to hold, the right side must also have a factor of 7. However, this is impossible, given that ABCDEFGH must be the numbers 01234689 in some order.
