    Thanks for the comment. There is only 1 checkmate in 3 solution. Good point on the part about, “IF fxg3″.

    On the third puzzle …
    On the third puzzle there is another solution although it depends how white plays.

    D4 knight to E2. White king to h1. E2 to G3.

    White can take the knight with f2 pawn or move the king back to g1.

    F2 to G3 is mate by f4 to f1.

    Moving the king to g1 escapes and black would do best to move knight to e2 and follow your solution.

    cute puzzles I got 5 out of 5 :)
    iv actually used 3 of the 5 tactics a few times in my own games to win. legals mate,queen sac for smothered mate and the knight check, queen sac then rook slides over for mate.
